Support Services
Caroline House teachers and staff strive to meet the individual needs and challenges of each student. Women often need help finding affordable medical care, housing, food, clothing donations, or resources to pursue their GED or other education options. Women are provided assistance with tasks such as understanding and filling out their children’s school forms or scheduling doctor appointments. Teachers work with parents and local schools to confirm a child’s placement into English-only classrooms.
Caroline House networks with over 40 organizations to assist students. Our center is a nurturing, supportive environment – a home – to which isolated women can turn for reassurance, comfort and help with problems and concerns. We guide women through family crisis situations, health issues, housing questions and other pressing needs. We reach out to help women bring about positive change for themselves and their families.
